So, I have been peeking in on you guys over the last two years, not posting or anything. What brought me back was the thought of Steve singing at HOF. But of course, as it turns out, he is not! What is that saying about the more things change.... Outside of that, can anyone here update me on Rick and Rip Rokken. Are they okay? It looks like Rick has been gone for two years, and Rip, since June 2016.

Why do you think Perry is not singing at the HOF? Was it announced somewhere that he isn't?

Ok, thanks. I read this same thing in the article posted in the thread you posted to in the Journey forum.

I guess, IMO, it's just Perry being Perry and him doing what he wants to do rather than what everybody else wants him to do, or is telling him he should do. I don't see anything where he has said 'yes' or 'no' to performing...he makes no comment on it at all.

The longer he doesn't commit, the less likely it is that he can perform though I'm sure whatever he may decide to sing would have to be tuned for his current voice, and they would want to rehearse. So, whatever. But, maybe that is what he wants to avoid...spending that amount of time with Neal/Jonathan/Steve Smith/Ross Valory/Gregg Rollie...maybe the past makes it too awkward .

I was sure he would perform since this is really the last honor Journey will probably get where he CAN perform and do it honorably. And, if he did perform, the RRHOF would make a ton of $ off of it.

I was away at one point for 8 years.

Rip is still Rokken with Dokken in the Hills!
