Not likely.

Batwoman's place right now is inside the hugely anticipated and ongoing Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover

Then she will be right next to Swamp Thing in the trash can at the end of the WW trailer.

and Supergirl was just picked up for Season 5. Also, Brandon Routh's Superman is getting raves and Tyler Hoechlin is getting his own Superman series.

Meh.

Birds of Prey will do good.

Guesswork and wishful thinking.

WW84 will flirt with a billion.

Seems like last time you said it was guaranteed a billion. Still, guesswork and wishful thinking...and too early to tell.

Next year, Reeves (and Gunn for SSquad) will bring his Batman at this time (breakage of the universe will ensue).

Exaggerated and wishful thinking.

As for Gunn...SS2 seems gimmicky and a bit lame. He captured lightning in a bottle with GotG and I doubt very much he is going to be able to repeat it with SS2.

Joker is a phenom.

Yeah, DC's one good film of the year.

The Rocks Black Adam is happening.

Meh....until I see more about it.

Aquaman 2 is a go

No...Thunderbirds are Go! Aquaman 2 was a nobrainer.

and don't think GL's cinematic movie is not a thing. That project is still alive and potentially happening. It's just fiiiiiiia.

IF they are going to do a series that is DCU canon, then GL Corps is dead. Maybe if the series takes off and is really good, then he'll get a movie...hopefully something other than "Lethal Weapon in space."

And, BTW, Shazam was sposed to be Big meets Superman.
Suicide Squad was sposed to be DC's answer to GotG.
GL Corps was going to be Lethal Weapon in space.
Joker was based on several movies, Taxi Cab, King of Comedy, etc.
Grace says WW84 uses "Heaven Can Wait"...and (I say) a bit of Stranger Things.

Seems to me that DC needs to come up with their own ideas.

That’s the real #Bombshell. WB just titled 2 of The Untitled Film Events scheduled for 2021 and 2022.
#TheMatrix4 gets the 21st of May 2021 slot, 4 weeks before #TheBatman.
And #TheFlash gets the 1st of July 2022 slot, teaming up with #Aquaman2 between #DCFilms in that year.

No, it's not a feature film. But, it is a bit of a phenom...especially last summer. WW84 would have suffered a lot of ridicule for copying Stranger Things

Just admit your Marvel bias clouds your vision and we can move on. American Horror Story 1984 just happened. Nobody "ridiculed it for copying Stranger Things."

WW84's title was announced in late 2017. If anything. AHS84 is a direct result of both WW84 and Stranger Things.

And Stranger Things still isn't wholly responsible for millennials' and Generation Z's fascination with the decade.

Also, the Global Nominations for Joker is unanimous and overwhelming for Joker.

Nothing for Endgame, lol.

Shazam 2 arrives April 1, 2022.

Shazam 2 and Black Adam (12/22/21) are only four months apart!

It's all being mapped. Leaves room for Henry's Superman to pop in that universe in that time span, in line for a 2024 Superman solo. Erza is back as well so the studio seems keen on keeping their cast together minus Ben. Even Jared Leto is said to be coming back and have a role in BoP.

Well, I really don't care about any version of American Horror Story. There is already a real life one starring Donald Trump.

Now, "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" is obviously copying Stranger Things, it even stars one of the kids.

And Stranger Things still isn't wholly responsible for millennials' and Generation Z's fascination with the decade.

Don't see anybody arguing that it is! But, they do seem to do it the nostalgia thing better than anybody else.

I don't believe you. Any Stranger Things fan can immediately see the similarities....and I'm sure they cross fanbases.

That is not what I would say. I say they are two different forms of media. When you create a comic book story, you write for a comic book. When you create a movie, you write for a movie. Taking a comic book story and trying to mimic it into a movie is ridiculous...and the audience they would be catering to is the comic book nerd audience...that is limited, but not so limited that it only includes the two of you

Joker comes out.

Monkturd: "It's not even about Joker! It's Arthur Fleck! It's not a comic book movie!"

Both of those points are true. The Joker does not even truly exist in that movie...he is simply Arthur Fleck's fantasy of himself. It not really a CBM told in a CBM sorta way. Those are just facts.

Anything to tingle his ballsack to discredit anything DC does  Sad.

I'm not saying Joker is a bad movie. It's a great movie...one of the best of the year...it is just not the type of movie you are making it out to be.

Henry Cavil is not going to be Superman. Bringing Leto back is an incredibly stupid idea.

So, when is DC going to come up with their own ideas? Bringing up Marvel does not change what DC is doing.

Crisis on Infinite Earths. Listen, the CW Network is average and cringy at very best.. but I can't believe they pulled that off. And the Earth-96 ending...

..beautiful. It finally feels good to like Routh's version. Full circle and "healing".

Yeah, that bit about Gleek was great, wasn't it? Can't wait to see the Wonder Twins in the next Super Friends movie.
