Rip Tony Lewis (The Outfield)

Man I loved The Outfield. They were my favorite band in the 80's. Followed them for years and have all their releases. Tony was working on an EP at the time of his death, a follow up to his 2018 sol9o album.

After I saw that Lewis had passed I went back and spent a few day listening to the Outfield's back catalogue. Man those guys could write some great songs. And Lewis' 2018 solo album done after the death of John Spinks (guitarist and co-writer of most of the Outfield material) is very under rated as well. Worth checking out if melodic rock is your thing.

Their Music is on many of my Spotify Playlist.
Not a week goes by I’m not playing “Your Love”
They were definitely an inspiration on the last album
I released playing & Production wise. Condolences to his family .
