Van Halen is one of the last great rock & roll band from the 70's who made it on their music, their shows, their image & their attitude alone when VH exploded on the rock scene back in 78 with the guitar virtuosity of Eddie Van Halen & the showmanship of frontman David Lee Roth which has never been equalled since which is the truth unless you're an idiot, along with one of the last great important & influential debut albums in rock besides VH's other five important & influential classic rock albums as well as being one of he last great rock & roll bands who had any impact on my life during my youth growing up during the 70's I'm proud to say because what came after them has only been little sparks as in Motley Crue, Bon Jovi & Ratt during the 80's IMO.
