According to sources close to the band, SAMMY HAGAR and the rest of VAN HALEN are currently locked away in a California studio. No word on whether they are recording a couple of tracks for the much talked about Best Of Vol. II or a full studio record. Insiders say that the band will use the Sammy Hagar pre-Super Bowl show to make the announcement of a reunion (thus ensuring international press coverage).
