Kiss are abt to tour oz,they are also planning a show called in your face with KISS.The show is suppossed to be an intimate night with KISS.
The only problem is the prices,199 and 299 dollars to see these tight ass bastards.I for one said my farewell to these creeps in 2000 or 2001,who knows and who cares, only a fool would go and see these clowns one more time.
I have had enough of there rorting ways and will definitely be waiting and saving to see VH.

They released some $99 tickets when the sales didn't happen.

Which sucks if you paid the minimum amount at the time and then it halved in price.

Guess being first in these days can have it's disadvantages....

I am going to see Kiss this weekend in Perth. I thought I had said my farewell in 2001....bought the premo seats, had a great time and said that's it, never again.

3 years later they come back and I find myself going again. The main reasons being that I haven't seen a great concert since then (pretty rare for Perth to get big international acts....usually east coast only) and I find the arguments about no new material, money hungry bastards to be a little petty. Sure, prices are expensive....but only because they can still get a turnout at that price....if the demand wasn't there it wouldn't work. As for no new material I don't find the argument holds....when you follow a little pub band looking for a break, they gig and gig trying to build support, without putting out new material each weekend. And we go along in support of that band, enjoying the show and the music they make. Why can't it be the same for older, established bands? I go along to a concert because I enjoy the music and in the case of Kiss, the spectacle. I don't expect new material, I expect a good time and I believe Kiss will deliver that in spades this weekend.

Just my point of view

Actually, I've read that they might be playing some new old songs, they rarely or never played before. And regardless of that; they know how to put up a good show... as long as you are able to see it. Last time I went to see Kiss, I couldn't see a thing because everybody in the audience was over 2 meters tall, and the stage was way too low. :( So in my case, it will very much depend on the venue whether I will go and see them again. Ticketprice would be an issue for me too, though...
