Heard news that Silvertide, a band out of Philly, will be opening up for VH on the first leg of the tour. You can check out their website at:

They seem like a pretty cool band. They aren't some alternative/new age rock band. They are kind of a throwback. Their music reminds me of Buckcherry. Big vocals and loud guitars.

I have also heard that Brides of Destruction may also open as well. Whether it would be a 3-band bill or just 2, who knows. I knew VH wouldn't take some "80's" band out with them. Give these new guys a shot, give them some exposure, and hopefully they'll put on a good show--that's all we can hope anyways.....

Remembering the 5150 tour - Bachman Turner Overdrive.....yeah not terribly exciting, but they did put on a decentt show. (despite a completely empty audience)

Also - A individual covered Gumby garb cruised the LA Forum audience during the opening act, shaking hands and all. And then when Van Halen showed up - gumby played bass for two songs. Michael Anthony in character......too funny
