New Sound Clips are up over at the Dokken Board

Postby Lebronfan » Mon May 10, 2004 5:23 am

Just heard the new clips from Dokken's Hell to Pay. I have to say they are really good. John Levin sounds just like George Lynch. The word is that this CD is going to be great. Go to www.dokken.net to hear them.

Thanks for the link! I like these songs! And I'm glad to notice that Dokken still sound like Dokken again; was a little afraid they would go on a more adventurous course in their music again.

You are right, there's nothing wrong with that. But Dokken's last adventure delivered an album called Dysfunctional. I really couldn't stand it. Dokken is better off with staying on the beaten track, as far as I'm concerned.

It all comes down to a matter of taste. Their early work carried some great hooklines, I missed those in Dysfunctional.
