Kiss is more than just about Gene's famous tongue.

Kiss is more than just about their makeup, their pyrotechnics & Gene's famous tongue even though " misguided music critics " don't see it because their music is ballsy, good time, kick ass, rock & roll while Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley aren't in the same leagues as Lennon/McCartney, Jagger/Richards, Bob Dylan & Pete Townsend as songwriters but rock classics by Kiss during their 70's reign are just as important, influential & timeless as the Beatles during the 60's as well as being great performers in their own right with few equals!

Hmmmm.... they USED to be more about other things than Gene's tongue.

Nowadays I see them solely for his tongue, Paul smashing his guitar, pyro, blah blah blah

If they want some musical cred back, they need to drop Detroit Rock City, Love Gun, RNR All Nite etc from their set lists and play some DIFFERENT music from their EXTENSIVE catalogue.

Or how about this?

Now this may sound a bit out of left field, but maybe they could make some new music?!?!?!

Sorry.
What was I thinking?
Silly idea :D

Yeah, saw them at Kiss In Your Face hoping for new songs.

There were a few different songs, but they were all really old.

Eric looked bored as hell drumming.
Tommy is an average guitarist IMO

Still they played all the old songs, even knowing that most of the people there were at either the 1st or 2nd (or both) concerts in Melbourne.

PERSONALLY, I want NEW songs (if they are still capable of doing that) or failing that, more off Revenge, Anamalize, The Elder, Unmasked, Dynasty, etc etc

Not like they don't have much to choose from....

Something off 'The Elder' hey?
That'd be a turn-up for the books.........a really good thing would be for them to play a 2 part set.
Part One - 'The Elder' in it's entirety.....
Part Two - setlist:
Sweet Pain
Tomorrow
C'mon and Love Me
Magic Touch
Killer
Christine Sixteen
Hotter than Hell
Exciter
Heart of Chrome
Childhood's End
I still love you

I Love it Loud
