Peter Criss was on Eddie Trunk's radio show last night and he was great. He had a ton of interesting things to say. If you don't know who Eddie is, he does Friday Night Rocks on Q104.3 in NYC. It gets replayed on KNAC.com and is also to be on XM radio's Boneyard channel soon. He's been a big KISS fan (all line ups) for years. These were some highlights among other things.

1. Gene & Paul don't talk. Because of this Gene stays in separate hotels and has separate limos.

2. Tommy in Ace's make up is a friggin' insult. Same with Eric. AGREED! Take it off or give them their own.

3. They have no problem deceiving the general public into having them believe they are seeing the original band.

4. Peter was dumped because they wanted someone younger to start a "new" KISS. Who plays mostly the same songs as the "old" KISS. At least Paul personally called him to tell him.

5. They told Peter AFTER he signed the contract for the Aerosmith tour that Tommy was replacing Ace. If he knew that he wouldn't have done it. But he signed a contract...

6. Gene is full of shit. No surprise there.

Paul & Gene not talking is interesting.....

I dunno - in the first tour that Singer replaced Criss there was an insert in the tour book, it's not like it was a secret or anything........also on the recent tour to Australia, the names in the paper ad for the concert read four names - and two of them weren't Criss and Frehley.

As far as Simmons and Stanley not talking? They seemed cosy enough in a couple of press conferences and interviews I saw.......

I maybe wrong Kenny but didn't the tickets already go on sale BEFORE anyone knew Eric Singer was replacing Peter for that tour. Don't know why I just thought of that, a month after you posted. But whatever.

Just because Peter says something doesn't make it truth. Same goes for Ace, Gene and Paul. Everyone has their own 'view' of things.
