goodie!

Postby PulgA » Tue Jun 08, 2004 4:01 pm

yeah, I like it, but not so much as I like "It's About Time"...

"Up For Breakfast" is pretty good, but it can't be a classic one... it's like the less famous songs from 5150 album...

well, I'm still waiting for a South America tour (I hope next year, with a new album)...

Yep, like this one too - it sounds like the good time Van Halen of old.....if we were all honest, I think we would say that all three songs are perhaps better than we thought they'd be.
I'm really looking forward to a new album now.

I dig the solo. Song isn't bad. Not one of their best but not one of their worst either.

Better than we expected Kenny?

Well, not really. I must say I was pumped when I heard IAT, but both UFB and LTS are a little of a letdown really. LTS is extremelly cool but the verse annoys me, a tad too Sammy solo. UFB, those horrible lyrics! Yeah, I know it's VH of old and if, and I told my wife the same thing, if any band should get away with lyrics like that then VH is that band. But I just find the whole song lyrically filler!

But overall I'm bloody happy cause it's VH and I do enjoy the songs, particularly IAT, and am looking forward to a new studio album pray they do one!? Would love to see em live but!

Yeah I think they are better than most of us thought, especially after VH III.....and considering Ed's 'new' tuned down sound, which is reasonably contemporary, whilst still being classic VH!!

Well what did you expect? This is the same dude that brought us such deep and meaningful lyrics as "Wham! Bam! Amsterdam!" and "Call 1-900-Spanked!" Not to rag on Sammy but his lyrics have always been a bit immature. It's ok, though, it's the music that matters most.

Up For Breakfast is the best new VH song on the BOBW compilation since it sounds like a F. U. C. K. outtake to me even though it will never be Everybody Wants Some!

So what the fuck has 'Everybody wants some' got to do with F.U.C.K Wayno, old pal.......and to the newbie who said Sammy's lyrics were immature?
They were at times pal, but then I suppose DLR is fucking Shakespeare?

Why?
All I asked was what has 'Everybody wants some' got to do with the F.U.C.K album Wayne........I don't disagree that "Up for Breakfast' sounds a little like the F.U.C.K sessions, but I don't understand the aforementioned comparison.....
