It's ok. Not great, not bad, just ok.

Yep, can see through this slightly muddy live version and I like this!!!!!
Not brilliant and the bridge is weak, but sweet chorus, expected no less.

Funny fan of these guys I am. Absoloutley hated the song 'Final countdown' and still do, would vote it one of the worst songs of the 80's, but love heaps of their other stuff, enjoyed 'Out of this world' and 'Prisoners'. From comments on these boards I think I would benefit going back to their earlier albums, particularly if they're heavier which is what I like these days!?

Thanks for the link.

Reminds me a lot of a Scorpions ballad for some reason..

The way he sings "tonight"

Anyway, I know this sone will grow on me.
OK song

I listened to the song now a couple of times and I like it! It's not the usual kinda "polished" Europe sound... it's kinda more raw... it takes a little to get used to, but I like it! But then again! It's live and they are more raw live!

The song definitely is good, though will probably be polished up on the album. Reading posts on the net about this song, I think those of us extremely excited with their return, are going to expect tremendous results. We have to make sure they are realistic. Remember a lot of the Prisoners songs were pretty raw live as well.

I heard the Sweedish Rock Festival set and I have to say that they sounded awesome.

I was totally shocked how tight and spot on the songs were considering the reunion etc.

If they can write good songs once more, I have no doubt that they will be able to nail them in the studio.

"Start From The Dark" sounds really good in their concerts. Europe's first single is going to be another song called "Got To Have Faith".
