"Don't Fight It"

Postby Monker » Thu Aug 04, 2005 3:08 pm

I went to a Pat Benatar concert Wednesday night. During the concert Neil Giraldo mentioned that their new drummer had been Kenny Loggins drummer for years. They met when Kenny Loggins asked Neil to perform on "Don't Fight It". Anyway, not too long ago there was a bit of an argument between this drummer and Kenny...and he punched Kenny square in the face and knocked him out cold! He joined Benatar this current tour.

Funny story, I think!

<Insert Perry joke about throwing fire extinguishers here...just don't care to do one right now.>

And, BTW, Pat Benatar has an AMAZING voice, even after all these years.

Hey about the song, I have to admit..

When Journey did this song as encore during Frontiers tour, it sounds awesome..Neal's punchy guitar and Perry sounded better than studio..

I wonder if Kenny ever guest appeared on a Journey stage?

This is hilarious. I am not biting and you are uncorking! You go!

I send PM's to my board buddies. I even sent one to Monker, apologizing for bitching him out, when I was wrong. I never emailed you..unless you really are....drum roll please....

journeytroll?

Gotcha! Oh, and the girls you talk to about me. So? Why do I care? If Perryfaithful, HOTS, Oh Sherrie, and PROPERRY are the girls in question, yes, I know they hate me, because of Perry.

Perry sang both parts of a duet? That's not like him to want to control something that much...

You're up early, Deano. Is the sun even up yet?

Would like to see Journey do a song like this with either Augeri and Deen or Augeri and Kevin Chalfant.-ERIC

Yeah, the duet with K-Logg, I think blows(no pun intended), but the closer at Japan is awesome..Perry did a great job on that and Neal was awesome.
