How about get back to the DVD! Lots of fine meat to chew on there

I watched, and much rather prefer the CD.

Sorry girls, I know Perry was the shit, but if you're a dude, it's embarrassing to watch.

it is rather quiet and although i don't like to argue, i will do it if it means getting things started around here. I'd rather be the one who has the opinon and someone challenge me so I can swear and say something really insulting. Then I can pass it on to someone else. I think I am in the mood for some arguing. Hurry before I get bored and I just leave.

alright...hmmm...need more challenging and incendiary words there Deano. Angie is usallly good to argue with or even Lori. This one is pretty simple. This was directed to the women on the board, wasn't it.

Steve was the shit and...oh I"ll have to go and look. Be right back.

If I want to be honest, and I always am, I would have to say that Perry singing is what it's all about for me. When he's on stage, he's otherworldly and the look on his face is priceless. His looks, or lack of, is not the issue to me. His one on one, and I mean talking, come's off as wiseass to me. Not that I wouldn't love to get stuck in an elevator with him, just for some in depth conversation. His performance on stage and his face is never more beautiful than when he is lost in song as when he sings, "Patiently" on stage, in a white shirt, with his eyes closed. OMG!

I've heard other guys say that too. I think a lot of it depends on what you compare his performing style to. A lot of rock bands and performers at the time were doing a lot of rough stuff on stage that most men would think of as being more macho. Compared to them I can see why some guys would think he acted a little iffeminate at times. To use a sports analogy, it's sort of like comparing a Wayne Gretzky(sp?) to Kurt Browning. Two different ways of being entertaining on skates. One brutal, one exquisite, both great at what they do, neither gay.

I prefer Kurt and Steve. :D

Who the Hell is Kurt Browning?

And by the way, if you don't like or love Gretzky, you are an idiot. THAT, is not subjective.

Nevermind, a quick google told me he is some gay figure skater.

Sherrie, let me clue you in. Gretzky was known as one of the more finesse players of all time. Dude was not a brute by any means, yet did play in the roughest sport on earth.

By the way, if you're a dude, and you're a figure skater, you are either, a) not good enough to play hockey, b), to big a pussy to play hockey, or c), gay.

Dean, I don't like hockey, and yes that's entirely subjective. No matter how much finesse it's played with, it's still a bunch of guys chasing and brutalizing each other over a puck. IMO, that doesn't require any of the individual players to display the gracdful athletic power of a Kurt Browning on skates.

By the way, if you're a dude, and you're a figure skater, you are either, a) not good enough to play hockey, b), to big a pussy to play hockey, or c), gay.

It's crude and narrow minded to assume that any skater who doesn't want to get his teeth knocked out chasing a puck must be gay.

I guess this makes my original point perfectly. It just depends on what you want to see, whether it's in a concert or a sport.

I'll take Kurt and Steve over Hockey and Ozzie Osborne.

Jesus Christ Sherrie.

You make my point for me.

You don't like hockey and don't watch it, YET you know how "barbaric" it is. Unbelievable. Football can be just as bad.

Stick with figure skating if you like. By the way, tell me Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton are gay? Kurt Browning has probably sucked more choad than McDonalds has made hamburgers...30 million..and counting.

PS--Nothing wrong with being gay. Hell I worked for a Whitehouse that supported gay rights. It's just the personal opinion I have...that makes me want to puke when I see gays "prominently display their pride and courage." Something about a dude blowing another dude gives me the willies.

Maybe at one time Bubba did. However, I distinctly recall during the last election how Clinton recommended that Kerry endorse efforts to prevent gay marriage.
Kerry was appalled and politely declined, saying he wouldn't run his campaign that way.

What was your point? That any guy who isn't alpha-male macho is gay? :?

You don't like hockey and don't watch it, YET you know how "barbaric" it is. Unbelievable. Football can be just as bad.

I don't watch hockey, but I've seen enough of it to know I don't want to watch it. I don't think football is quite as bad, but I don't enjoy seeing those guys get hurt either, but...

This has nothing to do with what sports I like. My point is that men don't have to look or act like barbarians to be masculine and attractive to all women. You think Kurt is effeminate because he participates in artful, graceful sport rather than a brutal one, and I likened that to your thinking a singer who acts harsh and "he-man" on stage is more masculine than one who doesn't.

Brian is gay, Scott and Kurt aren't. Kurt's been married for years and has children. Scott got married a couple years ago. I've followed this sport for years.

PS--Nothing wrong with being gay. Hell I worked for a Whitehouse that supported gay rights. It's just the personal opinion I have....

LOL...How the fuck is figure skating a sport? Any "event" where you are judged arbitrarily, is not sport. Hell, drunken darts or billiards is more sport than dudes wearing tights and acting like chicks, getting "voted on" by Russians, Norweigians, Fins and Japs...makes a lot of sense.

Well, I don't give a shit...I think gay jokes are funny. If they can take a dick, they can take a joke.

Problem is, those guys are not gay!

But HOTS, I wanted to commend you on your previous post about Perry and how he affects you through his singing. For once, you offered up a little more of yourself, you opened up and explained why you feel the way you feel. It has been a long time since you did that!

Oops! I didn't know that about Jack and Will. I'd be willing to bet that gays love the show tho.

Thanks for the commend, Dave. A little vacation now and then is always nice. I believe that one of your posts, sometime back made it easier to relate things like this. I recall that I stated that "I owed you one." :)
