Yes, it WOULD ( ) be weird. If Perry sat there screaming a few words per sentance for DRAMATIC EFFECT  like MoFo (By the way, is your rebutal to my interrogative post directed at him an admittal that YOU'RE HIM   ?!?!?!) and the 2 or 4 of you type them in your posts INCESSANTLY  it would be WEIRD. As weird as his IMPULSIVE (drug-induced :?: ) jaw snapping on the '81 dvd.
PS, there's no such thing as "CLASSIC JOURNEY."
There was, and still is Journey.

Funny, I always felt the same way about TBF.

Yeah it is. TBF sucks, as does ROR. He needed to get out.

I have to disagree,NIG. TBF is a state-of-the-art album.Different from the classic Journey concept, sure, but amazingly well done. We gotta respect their creativeness and hard work on that record.

No I don't. It sucked so bad that they don't even play any tunes from it live. MOL is the only good song on that disc, IMO. I am glad you like it, though.

I think TBF has it's moments.
It just has ten or so ballads too many.

Do you own any album besides Arrival and the Greatest Hits?
Not every Journey song has to be an immediate toe-tapper top 40 friendly pop tune. With that said, I think "Knowing that You Love Me", "Out of Harms Way" and "Beyond the Clouds" are plenty catchy.
I swear, if "Departure" was released tommorow, fans like yourself would complain that the whole album is disposable with the exception for "Any Way You Want It".

God TNC, you are one arrogant SOB  .....let's see...I own Time 3 on CD.....had Raised on Radio on Vinyl........I have Red 13.... TBF...Arrival....Greatest Hits.....Perry FLOSM........ 4 Neal Schon solo releases..Both Bad English releases and HSAS.....so yeah I am a fan...of them as Journey and their other projects....

It's funny how if anyone disagrees with you, they are just wrong....I was just giving my PERSONAL opinion....having paid for the music..I didnt get a free copy at a concert, no one burned me a free copy..I bought if off ITUNES and the fact that I dumped the songs that I paid for speaks for itself and by the way I hate Any Way You Want It... 8)

I can respect the creativity (which was basicaly "Beyond the Thunder" with vocals) and 'hard work'. But, that doesn't change my opinion that TBF has absolutely no moments from Perry that made me feel "Wow, nobody else can do that." The vocals on every other Perry album had moments like that for me...TBF has "Wow, Perry is now just an average rock singer who any good tenor can cover." and "Wow, Perry really should have hacked up that hairball before he sung that..." and "Wow, Kevin Chalfant now sounds better then Perry." moments.
