Do you think Kiss will breakup before the end of the year?

I think the legendary rock group known as Kiss is about to breakup without any official announcement from Gene or Paul because after over 30 years of rocking the planet the time is right but it should have happened years before. Kiss should have called it quits after their farewell tour about 5 years ago since they have been looking sillier & sillier onstage going through the motions playing their rock classics besides without Ace & Peter it's ludicrous which isn't criticizing current members.

Without ANY announcement? I don't think that's KISS's style. I do believe there will be that one last show, hopefully and rightfully should be at Madison Square Garden. I believe Ace and Peter will be there for that because the original line up is KISS. Everything else was a Gene and Paul solo project. Some of it was real good but nothing tops the original KISS. Until then they will do what they do as long as there is money to be made. But the last show will be bombastic and Ace and Peter have to be there. I mean how pathetic would it be to go out with Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in their Halloween costumes?

Been a fan since 1980,was director of the Kiss Army International for ten years! Met the guys evan did a 45 minuite interview with Gene during the reunion tour, wonderful memories of Kiss. Now embarrassing...wigs...no new cd for ten years!!!!!!....pretend Ace...pretend Peter.....Kiss perfume(yes its on its way)...Kiss coffin..farewell tour-NOT? Yes please please split up while you have some cred?...My two favourite bands Kiss and Journey really suck at the moment.Still at least Kiss play live,no tapes(i hope haha)

The lip synched that Vegas 2002 performance that's out on DVD when every other band performed live. They also do that for special appearances like when they played the Super Bowl. Usually they do that to a soundcheck performance so it doesn't sound like anything else you've heard before (aka Journey 2001 DVD). They really don't need to do it, but they do to avoid screwups in certain settings.

But generally, in concert they are as live as most bands. Although sometimes Paul's guitar is turned off, or there are hidden keyboards not visible on stage, that kind of thing.

They'd be ok if they took the make-up off again, and did a new album in the vein of 'Revenge" and toured for it. I think the current line-up is ok, I just dont like how they've got Peter and Aces make-up, it just looks stupid. It dont sound stupid, but not right.

I agree ditch the make up and tour as they are but on a smaller scale. 8)
