anxious for his new CD out next month?? and if he went on tour would you buy a ticket??? I always regreted that I was not able to see Bob Seger back in the mid 70s' as I was too young to go to the shows...

Glad to see Bob back at it...but so far, the lead off single is a little slow for my taste. Doesn't sound "new", seems like a safe song. I guess that makes sense after 15 years goes by.

So how did Bob get on the radio???

Haven't heard this yet. I will have to check it out. Thanks!

My favorite Seger tunes are Night Moves, They Love to Watch Her Strut, Main Street, Katmandu, Turn the Page, We've Got Tonight, Still the Same... damn, he's got a lot of hits.

I've only heard the new single once and that was a few weeks ago while I was at work so couldn't give it a real listen, but I'll probably pick up the CD. If he tours, I am so there... he's on my list of "gotta see one day if I ever get the chance/time/money"

I'm with ya Froy On Hollywood Nights and Roll me away.
I think my fave though is Still The Same.
That one always reminds me of my Mom.

Would you believe I never liked Turn The Page?

LMAO!!! You're not alone there Knox...never could stand Seger. I like Shame On The Moon and Til It Shines are the only two I can handle. Aside from that, I really really don't like his new song. It sounds like someone turned the record player to slow speed. It just doesn't sound right. It's my guess he won't tour. He's been bitching about it for years, how old he is and he doesn't know if he can do it. Last month, he got a band together and tried rehearsing to see if he could pull it off, but I haven't heard anything since then.

If Seger tours, and comes anywhere in SoCal, I'm there.

From what I hear though, there'll be no tour.

There are several of his songs that I like but I don't consider myself a big fan of his.
