Ray, to counterbalance your slightly biased view of BT, I've dug out the real rules for MR....
1. Say anything you like, as long as it has nothing to do with Journey. If you want to talk about Journey, try to bury your post somewhere in a thread about sex, or tribute bands or fighting.
2. Try to be as antagonistic as you can. Fights and threats are encouraged as most people agree they make the site more ‘interesting’.
3. Don’t think before you post. Reasoned arguments are discouraged and continuous knee-jerk reactions will help to raise your kudos on this site.
4. Hate everybody, but especially hate ex-band members, anybody who has not yet been banned from BT, and anybody with the surname Augeri.
5. Make sure you bitch about BT at least once every day.
6. At least one swear word must be included in every post, otherwise your macho rating will be diminished and those with a higher rating will start to bully you.
7. Don’t you dare make any disparaging remark about Steve Perry’s singing. You can crucify him as a person (encouraged) but you mustn’t ever suggest he is anything other than the greatest singer in the history of civilisation.
8. Every other thread must be about Deano. If you forget this rule, don’t worry as he will be there to pick up the pieces and insert the necessary quota of threads – or hijack existing threads.
9. Try to make sure that the content of the site discourages (ie frightens the shit out of) anybody under the age of 20. We don’t want younger members as it could upset the balance of power among those who really rule the site.
10. Above all, pretend you’re enjoying yourself here – this is real life and everything else is just fantasy
