Slamer = Holy ****!!!!

I got this new CD Saturday and have not been able to stop playing it despite the fact that I got two other great CD's on the same day. Simply amazing stuff!! I have been a fan of his guitar playing since "Streets" and I also liked "Steelhouse Lane" but this one just blows me away!! Terry Brock is another I have always liked since "Strangeways" and these two make an amazing team!! This could be one of my all-time favorites. I know it's too soon to say that but wow! I can't get enough of this stuff. :P Amazing. :shock:

Might have to check this one out. Saw Terry Brock with Randy Jackson at a bar in Euless, TX once thanks to my friend Don W. getting them booked. He had a pretty cool voice although I was there mainly to see the Zebra frontman. I heard a lot of good reviews about Slamer from other folks. Wish it would get played on radio - terrestrial radio that is - I'm sure satellite has 1 station somewhere that might play it - I just don't have it. :roll:

www.arfm.co.uk Saturday and Sunday from 6pm to 9pm UK time - DJ Steve Price has been raving about the album and a few weeks ago interviewed Mike Slamer live on his show. Thanks to Steve Price, I've been able to find more great albums that otherwise I'd be none the wiser about cos national radio stations in the UK dont bother with hard melodic rock. There's a plethora of new and exciting bands out there and dj Steve Price is bringing them to our attention. Westworld, Tony O Hora, Starbreaker, Eyes (and other JSS related bands), Pink Cream 69, Vengeance, a new album by Bonfire, new releases by bands like Gotthard and Kingdom Come, Edguy, Shark Island, Ten. All these bands and more get played regularly as well as some of the classic hard rock from the 70s and 80s. It's the best 3hrs of rock anywhere on the internet. Check it out for yourselves.
I feel it only fair to warn you I'm naked under these clothes
