No, he didn't tell me anything about this. Neal has a sharp tongue and doesn't need me to talk for him. He just doesn't waste his days on a message board like some of us.

Now, I see your attempt at diversion, Maria. Augeri was the problem, not Neal. Sure they all knew, but I honestly don't think some knew to what extent.

I can assure you it went down the way I said it did...there is no disputing it anylonger. I am giving the boys a pass. Why? Well, aside from knowing that this shit was going on, it wasn't Friga's fault Augeri couldn't sing. It sure as hell wasn't Deen's fault...Hell, Deen saved his wretched ass nightly. Deen should call him and ask for half of the money Augeri stole, disguised as a paycheck. It definitely isn't Neal Schon's fault. He plays his guitar (does his job) impeccably. I fail to see how this is anyone's fault but that phony fuck, Augeri. Please explain this Maria.

I just think that they should all be held accountable for the supposed "tapegate" like you yourself suggested months ago. Would make them all phonies to have gone along with it don't you think? To give them a pass now is a little ridiculous.

I get what you're saying. Yeah, to an extent they are all wrong, however. As I said before, I gave these guys a total break because it was there 30th tour...They made some damned fine music in that time and I was content to not say anything. It was only when they started up AGAIN when I lost it.

After finding out Augeri himself was eager to continue this way, that's when all the "classy gentleman" and "nice guy" shit was a lie. He was more pissed than anyone....finding out he had to sing live. Imagine that? I can't believe mean old Neal Schon and Friga would demand that their singer actually sing! Terrible friends those guys are!

Ahh but Deano.....that is where they become even more guilty in your scenario. They could have replaced Augeri before Europe. He was sick in January, perfect opportunity to replace him before the tour started. But you see, they all said "fuck it". This makes them all accountable. Just seems silly to forgive them now. And my beef is that you are trying to make Neal seem the most innocent and the one who had the wool pulled over his eyes. Being in this business since 14, he's learned quite a bit. Everyone, myself included, know Neal is, was and always will be Journey.

To me, the hardest thing to get over is how the band had been presenting themselves these past few years. All the interviews about how much respect they had for each other for a change and what a family they all were. The integrity that Jon proclaimed and Augeri's white suits with his hands crossed at his chest. The nerve to fake it in Europe before the tour and the nerve to even start the tour with a disabled vocalist.

They all were in on this and they flat out cheated a lot of people and the worse part is letting one guy take the rap. So they are happy now. That makes all the deception alright?

Why in hell didn't they just put Augeri on sick leave before they began the deceit? Don't tell me that Augeri had any rights to continue on if his voice was impaired.

What makes me the most angry is all the crap that they claimed Perry did and they pull this. Yeah, the show must go on, even if they can talk you into sitting on a stool to sing or use tapes if your voice needs a rest.

Because they all 'knew', and they STILL all got up on stage and performed behind them. ANY of them could have stopped it just as easily as Augeri could. It's the entire band's fault for standing behind this decision, not just Augeri's.
