I dont think any attempts were even made to promote any of the Talisman cd's here in US. And you're right , Talisman would've become a successful band here in the states as well.
As I told Jeff when we saw eachother in Columbus last month, Its nice that after 22 years, people will not think of him as "Ex Yngwie Singer" no more, rather the Journey singer!
Another project that didnt get the promotion and attention it deserved was called Human Clay with JSS and Marcel Jacob,,, They released 2 cd's ( which now have been re-released as a 2 disc special.) strongly recommended! ironically Yngwie plays as the guest guitar player on a track or two!
Speaking of Yngwie, I think out of his 15+ studio albums, the only one that made it to a US top 20 chart, was the 1st album, Rising Force, with JSS singin on it. Funny part about it is, that album had 8 tracks out of which 6 of them were instrumentals. That was the only album to reach a US top 20 back then without any singles released to promote it!
On another note, Jeff, you're a tough guy, but a flue is still a flue,,,, GET WELL SOON bro....
peace
