Lets just say, that, for instance, an established rock band, had just got in a replacement singer, for one who had been caught "cheating". The new singer needs time to adjust, and during that adjustment period, was struggling. Due to this, the band/singer were getting a fair amount of negative comments on their fan sites/forums, and especially from someone who had an ability to sway others opinions on those sites. This person was adamant that the new guy was never gonna cut it.

We fast forward some weeks, and this person has had a complete change of opinion, this from someone who is normally steadfast in his views. This consequent change of opinion, in someone whose views are most forceful, then served to change the views of a lot of people on the hypothetical fan site, so much so, in fact, that the new singer was then hailed as a messiah almost... a second coming if you like.

What if we found out that maybe this persons new opinion had been bought by the band, in the form of free tickets, and back stage passes, how would we all feel about this??

do you think that the people who were unwittingly dragged along with this change of opinion would feel foolish... or would they stick to their new opinions??

would they be real pissed to know that this person had been "bought" ??

Did Deano or anyone here CAUSE any of this to happpen? No, I highly doubt that Deano went and caused Mr A's voice problems or forced him to use tapes. So does any of your little conspiracy theory even matter?? Actually, maybe it does. If someone hadn't had the guts to speak up then one of two things would have happened, "tapegate" would have never been discovered and we would all be paying to go to see a glorified lip-sync contest, or second, it would have been discovered and possible that would have been the end of Journey right???

The could have just called it quits but instead they decided to go on and made the best of the situation by calling JSS. So what if they gave some tickets and backstage passes to people, guess what, they've given them to me! They give them to a lot of their fans that will give them praise. It's no different than any other business, you promote someone's product, they give you perks, like it or not, that's the way it is.

Hey...what can I say. I've been fighting with the Augeri crowd for over five years over at that place! They've always hated me, and I've always been pretty okay with it! All I can say that the music is now ASS-KICKING! I cannot comment on the stuff done from 98 until the late 2005 because I didn't listen to it. I am waiting to see what can come of this line-up music-wise.
