SUPERB song! I always knew you had great taste! I agree with your point on Fogerty as well. The man still sounds as good to this day singing his old CCR material. Very unique voice that was made for singing rock and roll.

Thanks John. You're right Fogerty really does sound just as good now.......and surprisingly so did Cougar/Mellencamp considering the guy used to smoke 4 packs a day and has had a major heartattack.

I have a couple of Fogerty DVD concerts, and the material is about 90% CCR, and that's more than okay with me. I think the music of CCR is as classic as classic rock gets! I never did hear the story about him being sued because one of his solo tracks sounded like a CCR track. That's interesting. I have a hunch that he probably won that suit. Why all these bands get into pissing contests with each other, I'll never understand!

Only in America! Fogerty actually wrote most of the CCR music, so this is why this suit was even more laughable. Although I don't think Fogerty's voice was in the same league as Perry's...it was certainly every bit as unique. I just can't envision anyone other than him beling out "Fortunate Son", and Tina Turner's version of "Proud Mary" proves my point!
