a kick ass version even. Then again, he always came across as a misplaced classic Rocker, born after his time.

That wasn't quite the case. He was sued for "Old Man Down the Road", which sounds an awful lot like a CCR song. Can't remember which one, though, but they do sound a lot alike from what I remember.

SUPERB song! I always knew you had great taste! I agree with your point on Fogerty as well. The man still sounds as good to this day singing his old CCR material. Very unique voice that was made for singing rock and roll.

Oh I love "No Time" and "Misunderstood..." That's a good mix your daughter has there.
Thanks Jabber, for the correct spelling of the Iron Butterfly song. Now I can go into my music folder and put the title to the song !

Would you like a little trivia too? It was originally titled, "In The Garden of Eden" but they slurred their words and the lead singer was so drunk when he went to spell it, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" was what he came up with! The rest, as they say....is history.

Yeah, I always thought Perry could do an incredible rendition of that tune.

Yeah, it was a pretty fucked up deal. Can you imagine being sued for plagerism...of YOUR OWN FUCKING SONG!?
