I would think a lot of those videos are copyrighted material. Youtube probably doesn't have much money for anyone to sue over having that content. Google has the bucks.

Under the deal, YouTube will retain its brand, its new headquarters, and all 67 employees, including co-founders Chad Hurley, who's 29, and Steven Chen, who's 28.
