Another "proof" that JSS is with Journey permanent

Now, while I absolutely agree that Jeff will probably be confirmed as the new permanent singer with Journey, that sticker in itself is proof of nothing.

Let's just suppose for a moment that Jeff is still only temporary. What would you expect them to put on an advertising sticker - 'Jeff Scott Soto, temporary fill-in singer with Journey for a few months' ? No, the fact is that Jeff is currently singing with Journey, and mentioning that fact will help to sell the Talisman CD. On those kind of stickers accuracy is optional.

I can see Marty's point... he IS IN Journey but that sticker doesn't mean he is PERMANENT. Some months/years down the road if Augeri gets surgery he might be back, anything is possible. If I were singing for a band like that whether temp or not I would use it as a selling point too.

My thought is that, if he WASN"T considered Permanent, wouldn't it have been better to put something like
"Featuring Jeff Scott Soto, currently on tour with Journey"

I think Paula Cole's Harbringer Cd sales sticker had a blip like this. Not when it was originally released but shortly after when she went on tour with Peter Gabriel's Band...
