If I recall correctly, somebody here quoted Herbie Herbert as saying that he would manage a Journey that had JSS in it. If this is correct and true, that should be the first thing they do when they get off the road. Re-hire Herbie and get into the studio (Analog style as someone mentioned in another thread) and create a solid CD. Then let Herbie work his magic.

If THAT happened, Journey might actually have a great shot at getting someplace in the future!

a band should not be devoid of the need and natrual desire to create new music, unless they have lost all of their 'talent' and are simply in it for the money... That I don't buy, especially with a group this talented (but unfortunately under less than passionate management...)

Wasn't he considering managing SS? Thought I heard that somewhere. HH has fire, passion and "techniques" that are unparalleled in his profession. He was the best and I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't STILL be a great manager. Besides, the idea of getting them relevant again without Perry would be all the motivation he needs.

I saw that thing on YouTube w/ Neal and JSS...and hey....if that's the way it's gonna go, then WHY can't JOURNEY - with their new Lead Singer - make NEW MUSIC?
