I like Steve Augeri's voice a lot more! He definately can sing the old Steve Perry songs a lot better as well.

Jeff doesn't fit Journey half as much. I liked the songs he sang in the Rock Star movie though, and a few of his non Journey covers like Carry On My Wayward Son.

Keep in mind that Steve Augeri is under a contractual agreement as a member of Journey. He is legally not allowed to talk about Journey unless the band members and the band attorneys approve it.

There are a couple of scenarios here.

1. He has been replaced by the band and legally he can't speak to anyone until the entire band comes forward when ready.

2. He is recovering and the band will not allow him to speak. The band has a replacement singer (JSS) and they are waiting to determine if (SA) will indeed recover otherwise the band will announce (JSS) as the new lead singer of Journey.

Neither 1 nor 2 are correct in terms of Augeri coming out and saying Thank U to those who sent him gifts sorry. Andrew confirmed a while back there was no gag order on Augeri. Saying thank u to his fans would only be polite. He obviously could care less about them.

Ur right. I don't know the truth. But I do believe Andrew does. & he confirmed there is no gag order on Augeri. Therefore I believe that's the truth.

I understand what you are saying, however Andrew did say a few days ago there is no gag order. That should mean Steve is free to speak whenever he is ready. I personally would not be surprised if it isn't long after next week when he at least thanks his fans for their support. Then again you may never hear from him again.

Don't u think Steve should have at least said thank u by now? It's been 4 mths now. A simple thank u reveals no information. It is not intrusive about his health, his private life, or his continuing status w/the band. It is merely an acknowledgement of his fans' support. It's the least he could do & it's already 2-3 mths overdue.

Yes, he should have said something by now...anything. I think he has acted selfishly. The whole band has been so quiet and yes we appreciate the music, but they should talk to us. After more than 20+ years of supporting them we consider them friends. The interview will help though, we love you Andrew.

Well of course he should of.. my kids have better manners then that!He's gonna take the heat for what went on and I'm sure he has to watch his P's and Q's on how he answers questions not quit a gag order but close enough!and the rest of the crew will come out smelling like roses just like always! But yeah he's gone and I don't know why they just don't deal with it and put it behind them.
