obviously you never read what I wrote.....
I was stating for at the time and what they had to use, they were good.
They were the ones who lead the path for others, I didnt say they are "guitar Gods", but definatly need to be recognized for their efforts in the evolution of rock.
If you got love in your sights......watch out! Love bites.....

When listening to his solo from Alive II (shock me) the other day after not hearing it for about 20 years, I thought "Hmmm, did Eddie Van Halen get any ideas from this, or vice versa ?"

I agree. And Kulick is the most underrated IMO.

When Ace is sober the man could bring it musically. Writing wise he needed to be in a band where there was another strong writer beside himself in order to be successful which is why Frehley's Comet tanked and he never did anything really good chart wise after his first stint with KISS (although I do love all of his solo records, especially Trouble Walkin'), but when he went on tour after Trouble Walkin' was released and was dropped from his record label the man by listening to boots you could tell he was out of sorts and wasn't all that good, and I've heard boots from the reunion shows where he rocks and boots where he sucks. It was really hit or miss during the reunion shows. I will say that his shows with Eric Singer in Japan were very solid.

So conclusion, he's above average, not overrated or underrated.
