Buckcherry 15

Postby blueonblack » Thu Jun 08, 2006 5:03 am

After a five year hiatus and replacing three band members, Buckcherry is back. Their new album Fifteen, is named for the number of days it took the band to record it. This album puts me in mind of the days of stadium rock and the sounds of the likes of GNR back in the day!
Fifteen is an awesome blend of southern blues and classic rock, with some pretty awesome vocals as well.

He does have some pipes on him doesn't he, lol! I will have the pleasure of seeing Buckcherry in July. I'm really looking forward to seeing if they are as good live as they are in the studio.

A buddy of mine went to see them at a bar here in Denver. He hung out and watched the load in. He thought it was kinda cool to see Josh Todd loading his own shit! :D My buddy hung with some of the guys before the show but Josh was a little busy...a handshake had to suffice.

They are a really tight band now, much better than before IMO. Looking forward to seeing them in July with Seether, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and a bunch of other bands at the K-Rockathon! Thank god for summer, lol!!

Holy shit! I have been spinning the disc for a few days now. I love it! My friend didn't think much of it as a "classic" Buckcherry fan but I really dig it.

We are a band from Vancouver,Canada called HOOLIGAN.
We had the privilige to open a show for BUCKCHERRY.They were really cool to us.No rockstar attitudes.
We recorded our set that nite.If you wanna hear some live raw rock"n"roll. With no overdubs or fixes in the mix..
Have a listen at..
