For those who are not familiar with this show, it teams a classic rock act with a current country act and they play/sing each other's songs. Usually more of the rock act's music gets played. Bon Jovi, Heart, Mellencamp, Lynrd Skynrd, are a few that I have seen. All have come off pretty well in my opinion.

Anyway, couple of questions:

1 If given the opportunity, should Journey appear?

2. Who would you like to see them teamed with?

My answers are yes and either Shania Twain or Martina McBride. Can't think of any male country singers that could hit the highs of some of the classic Journey tunes. Vince Gill maybe (kind of bland though).

Garth Brooks would make for a wild show, but I am sure he is holding out for KISS.

Martina McBride already did one with Pat Benatar.

Sorry, I must have missed that one. Sounds like a good pairing though. Both have beautiful strong voices. :)

Rascal Flatts could handle Journey tunes no problem.

Sure Rascal Flatts is one of the "IN" groups right now, but I'd rather see someone else with more crossover appeal. Willie Nelson is ONE that I'd love to see with the boys. Keep in mind, there has to be enough appeal on Journey's side to want to do that, with a country act.

It's a nice show, I wish I watched it more, because it's a great concept.

Shania and Journey. I think JSS and Shania would be dynamite.

I would suggest Toby Keith, but that much eye candy all in one place at one time may be too much for most of us girls to handle!

ehhh, no thanks on Toby Keith. I would however do a 180 and say the Dixie Chicks, because they CAN rock. BUT, that'll never happen on CMT.

The Martina McBride/Pat Benatar and Wynonna/Heart ones were great! I really can't decide who would be good. Rascal Flatts would be a good choice because they are so "in" right now. Would definitely help with publicity.

I hate country. Every song is C, F & G7 chords for white trash. You know the ones. They live in the Northeast but go country line dancing and actually own a cowboy hat but they've never even been on a horse. (For the record, I actually have)

I would be for them going on the show though, but do not think Journey's stuff lends itself to crossover the way Bon Jovi does.

Fucking every country song sounds like Def Leppard Lite today.

Go out and play some of that hard drinking REAL country shit. Still don't like it, but at least I respect it.

"And when little Sarah was crying, I said honey look up to the stars,
Mommy's looking down at you, and those lights will ease your pain
And just then like a miracle, the heavens opened up with rain"

LOL AR, that's got potential

I'm not familiar with any country music, just not my thang. Actually, I do like Jimmy Buffett, he's considered country, isn't he?

He's got this hysterical song called "Why Don't We Get Drunk...." I highly recommend it :P
