The guys who do that are usually drunk and want to get attention.Or worse, they really wanna hurt someone on stage.Dangerous jerks.

The ladies throwing things on stage are welcome.

At the show in Baltimore, during Def Lep's show,a gal threw a huge white bra on stage and Joe Elliot picked it up saying "What the fuck is this?...Can you see what we have to put up with?" He was so upset.

That's hilarious, Elliot gets upset about a bra thrown on stage..........then there is Perry, slow-mo's a bra thrown (during Where were you) on the Houston dvd. Some people have a sense of humour, different strokes for different folks I guess.

Naw,Elliot wasn't upset, lol,he was just playing the harrased rock star part.Actually,it was a "trophy"- he put the thingy on a microphone stand.

Elliot would just wish to get on stage was Steve P. was getting from the female fans. It was a Victoria's Secrets fest.

It happens in the 2nd verse.

You barely see it and Neal does not duck from it. It doesn't even land by him, it looks like it lands by SP but I think it's just the angle because he doesn't even look at it. Plus by the way it bounces, you can tell it's empty.

You may have been watching the alternate cut though (yes, there is an alternate edit of that video with different shots...good ones too!) and in the alt. cut you never even see the bottle because it's shot from teh other side (aiming at them from Neal's left instead of SP's right).

Doesn't the alternate one show the girl in the audience flashing the guys and then Steve and Neal looking at each other and laughing? Or am I thinking of another one?

The link I posted in my other post is the alternate version (reposted link below). I don't know about you, but I do see Neal duck (lean over) when it goes whizzing by him.....by the timer it is around the 2:00 minute mark. :) I think the shot you are talking about in the first part of your post is from the regular (GH dvd) version of GCHI, agreed...it looks like an empty water bottle.

The girl flashing isn't in the alternate GCHI...I know which scene you mean though, I just don't recall which vid that was in.

As for them looking to each other and laughing, that's just some creative editing. It wasn't because of a chick flashing.

You'll notice with those ROR performances, the same crowd shots are used in different songs. ROR and GCHI (alternate) both have the same shot of this one girl (the girl you see reaching her arms out in ROR when SP sings the line "be bop bop a lula").

Also on Frotiers and Beyond, you see the same crowd shots repeated too. A couple shots from the Send Her My Love video show up in F&B except in different songs.

Like Herbie said in the Frontiers and Beyond video....it can be dangerous up there on stage. "You have some guys that don't like their old lady's lusting after the band members." I mean are some guys that insecure that they would risk stopping a whole concert for thousands of people by throwing an object at a band member just because their gal thinks one of the them is hot?

Here is the song "Wheel in the Sky" that Perry gets hit in the head with an object (around the 3 1/2 minute mark).

He all of sudden stops singing, band stops playing and he is very pissed off to put it mildly.

Hey there....

Actually, Steve talked about this very instance during a FTLOSM interview, in a magazine (if my memory serves me correctly.)

He was doing a guest appearance at a radio station where this happened; taking phone calls with the DJ....all of a sudden, he recalled, a VERY NERVOUS GUY called in; stammering all over the place....he asked him if he remembered getting hit with something during the ROR Concert....Steve, of course, DID remember...and the guy said something like:

"Well, I'm the guy who hit you from the audience".

Steve was FLOORED, and asked him, "WHY?" The guy said something like, "I was jealous 'cause my girlfriend was in love with you."....and he called in to apologize - after all that time!

Steve went on to recall that he took the call offline during a commercial break, and had a conversation with the guy....apparently, he made peace with him.

lol- about the bra in Baltimore that Joe Elliott picked up, the girl who threw it up there was just a few feet from me, she had been wearing it too between sets, it was an inflatable bra. She had written stuff on it too, & Joe hung it on Viv's mic. lol

Somebody throw a bottle at me
& I;d want to rip them apart.

It was anger mixed with disappointment
A stupid act interrupting the flow of the show.
spoiling it for everyone.

I hope they gave him a few good lumps!
