It is now the year 2011. We have been anxiously awaiting the announcement that we knew was coming for months. Andrew has kept us on the edge of our seats for weeks. He flew back from the states over 6 weeks ago promising us the interviews and the announcement.
Finally it has arrived............................
AP- The brotherhood of Journey now officially welcomes a sister. First off Ross, Deen, Jonathan and I would like to extend the sincerest of thankyous to our former Journey mate Jeff. He has helped carry on the Journey name that I started along with Ross. He and so many others that are now to numerous to name have carried on this great name. Who could forget the night two years ago last August when Leo Sayer rescued our asses when Jeff felt vocally ill. If it wasnt for Leo we could have never finished that tour warming up for Randy Bachman and Manfred Mann.
But we saw at the beginning of our current tour warming up for the remaining member of Grand Funk Railroad that Jeff had lost a step. Jeff could no longer hit the high notes on Remember Me, and All The Way the way Steve Augeri could. Finally when his hair started falling out everyone knew it was only a matter of time. Whitney came in and saved this tour. She also helped save my savings account. She will be the one to help carry on the Journey name.
Again I would like to thank Jeff for all he has done for Journey. Even though less than 50,000 people purchased the CD's ' Sonar Revolution(2008) and Journey Live at the Zoo (2010) we feel they were excellent pieces of work that did carry on the Journey name. Thanks brother Jeff from all of us. Jeff would also like you to visit his website for exciting upcoming JSS news the address is www.jssrememberme.com
Finally I would like to invite all of you out there to come see the best Journey ever now headed by Whitney Houston. Her reviews with us have been great see you on the road.
