Great pic Angie.......I see Gowan....that 'strange animal' lol. And does anybody else think Styx drummer looks a wee bit like Journey drummer Deeno? Or is it just me?

Oh, I have always been amazed at the resemblance of those two! Although I have to say I think Todd is a bit cuter! :P

My days of mime on the outdoor college stage back when I was about 20 and had hair. Geez - is it any wonder why people HATE mimes? Look at the pom-poms on my shoes! If I remember correctly those were my girlfriend's idea.

Image
Entertaining kids at my old elementary school. The principal actually remembered me - I recall him giving me "whacks" with a yard stick several times.

Image
A review of a college play. The dean of the school wrote a letter to the director that it was one of the most incredible productions he'd ever seen and that it was like attending a superior off-Broadway production. This show was EXHAUSTING. LOTS of physical activity. I actually fought with the female lead and we used a REAL knife. I would eventually seize it from her after she sat on me holding it inches from my nose. The audience would gasp every night as I threw the knife down and it would stick deep into the stage floor. The final scene I dove off the stage onto mattresses while stage hands threw buckets of water into the air to simulate me landing in a river. I then had to dash back stage and out the door peeling down the hall into the properties room where I jumped into a large sink to be literally soaked through with water. I then ran back and climbed up a chain linked fence to flip back over onto the stage - WHEW! I LOVED that show - no pun intended. It was amazing how many people saw it and expressed being affected. I had strangers approach me in the middle of stores that recognized me. They told me how powerfully they were moved. Sorry to go on about it but it was an absolutely marvelous experience and something of a dream.

Image
Me and my theatre buddy Norm. He and I saw JOURNEY together in 1998 back in Cleveland. I had a virus and my throat was raw as hell but I screamed, "Neal!" all night long. The guy is simply out of this world.

Image
Ahhh...photos of Luv taken the week of the final run-throughs. My hair had grown considerably and I was really looking the part of Harry.

Image
Me, my wife Janneth (5 months pregnant with our first son) and my Colombian in-laws on a mountainside in Colombia - actually their "back yard." I setup my tripod and timer for this shot and kept asking them to back up. Ha-ha! If we took another couple steps back we'd literally fall off the edge.

Image
Cristian, Janneth and Jason, Me and Key 2005. I've now given all of my hair and good looks to our boys and have replaced it with about 50 lbs!

Colombia is an experience - no doubt. I'm sure you've seen parts of the world I haven't. I'm not so sure it's experiencing a distant part of the world that matters.

the world over
to find the beautiful,
we must carry it with us
or we will
find it not."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mime is money! LOL! That's funny! My shows were always on a volunteer basis. How could I ever charge money for MIME and magic shows...? That would be an unredeemable sin!

Yulog,

That hand reminds me of a Stephen King short story I read years ago where eyes popped out on the fingers of people. I don't remember the name or plot of it. It's just the first thing I thought of when I saw that avatar.

I believe the story was called "I Am the Doorway" from the book "Night Shift". Great story about an astronaut infected w/ some alien being in space. Who checks out our world through the eyeballs that develope on the astronaut's fingertips. Cool story!

You mean the Langoliers? No, I think the Langoliers were from "Four Past Midnight". I don't know how I remember all this, I haven't read any Stephen King in at least five years.
I petered out while reading the 4th book of the Dark Tower series. I should try to get back into that series after investing all that time reading the 1st 3 books

OMG you've got to go back to the Dark Tower. I don't know how far you got into Wizard and Glass. It got a little boring when they got to Mejis, but it gets better and the next book is great. It was the Dark Tower series that really got me into King. I read a few before but only became a huge fan trough the Dark Tower.
