Can you say "CHEATER"?

Yeah, I know. He paid his dues, so o well. He is YOUR problem now....if you get that far. Your pass defense is shit. Indy might run up 40 on you. However, they can give up 40 on the ground alone. KC is not a problem. New England is always a problem. hell, I don't see you guys coming to SD.

If you do, why don't NIG and AR swing by my crib and chill.

Only if you swear allegiance to the purple and black NOW.

Nobody has run up the score on the Ravens this year, Dean. NOBODY. The defense is phenomenal. Almost as good as 2000.

And, Dean... do you forget that Schottenheimer is coaching the Chargers? He chokes more than Linda Lovelace.

NFL POWER RANKINGS

1. Baltimore Ravens [2] — I'll draw some fire for moving them ahead of the Chargers, but this is the NFL's most dominant team right now. The Ravens are beating good teams and pounding bad ones, and no one is scoring against that defense. Baltimore has gone seven games without allowing more than 17 points. We were all horrified at the way the Titans treated Steve McNair last summer, but if he finally wins a Super Bowl as a result, that might take the sting off.

2. San Diego Chargers [1] — You can't accuse a team that's won ten in a row of backing into the playoffs, but they may be backing into the top seed. San Diego has slowed down the last two weeks, just squeaking by the Seahawks and Cardinals. Philip Rivers finished the season with a progressively lower passer rating every month, and the Chargers won't be able to beat Baltimore with a one-dimensional offense.

Thanks. I actually work at Shooters Waterfront Cafe in ft Lauderdale, we are in the process of trying too cut a deal too be Miller LIte headquaters for the week of the game. Big happening spot in Ft. Lauderdale, great 2 for 1 happy hour Mon- Fri. Big boats can pull right up to the dock of the restaurant, lots of good sights ..if you know what I mean 8) .

The Jets are a big suprise to me this year I said from the start of the seaon if we can get 5-7 wins we can slowly turn this around. Managni has done a great job with this team with no real suoerstar. The two first round picks seemed too help, Fergason and Mangold. We will nee a great "D" Fence too have a chance sunday against the Pats.

A bartrnder at the resaturant I work at bought Joe Namaths old penthouse condo about 12 years ago and he has the pictures of it full wall and ceiling mirrors with the bed on a platfom in the middle of the room.. Joe is the Man !!!!!

When Namath accepted his AFL MVp I believe i 1968 he said I would like too thank the following people,

His teammates, the owner and all the single ladies of NYC for making this an MVP season !!!!

NealIsGod wrote:Yes, Dave. They knew Ray didn't kill anyone. They didn't have a leg to stand on if they had pursued those charges. The two guys he was with were the guilty ones. There are witnesses to that effect. All Ray did, and I am not saying it was right, was obstruct justice (briefly) by not ratting out his "friends". You think he should be treated like a murderer for that? The man paid for what he did, and has done nothing but raise millions for charity and be an exemplary Baltimore citizen since then.

You are basing your opinion of the man on one horrible night of bad judgement. Tell me of any other instances where Ray Lewis did anything wrong.

And the thing is that people here went after SA like he committed murder!

The "forgiveness" extended to Lewis here makes me want to vomit.

For the life of me I can't understand the mentality expressed on this board. People are concerned that Saddam's blood is on our hands - Ray Lewis was with murderers and didn't have the nerve to finger them but since he's been a "good boy" and has forked over $$$ all is forgiven. Besides, it was only ONCE - right? Maybe it would be different had he been involved with multiple crimes...? Maybe like Saddam - wait - no - he was a leader of a sovereign country and therefore immune to punishment.

Geez - what does someone need to do to be PUNISHED - lip synch...?

It appears that the more horrible the act the greater the compassion! SA blew his opportunity to kill someone.

Had Steve Augeri been in the ame situation as Ray Lewis, I would defend him just as much.

And just so you know, I was one of the ones fighting for Augie throughout that mess.

Alright, this proves the San Diego Chargers are cowards. Now I REALLY hope the Pats pull the upset on Sunday.

Chargers shut out Pats fans
Only Southern Calif. residents to get seats
By Bruce Mohl, Globe Staff | January 10, 2007

The San Diego Chargers are trying to solidify their home-field advantage against the New England Patriots Sunday by restricting the sale of tickets to Southern California residents only.

Several Patriots fans who went looking for game tickets on Ticketmaster were stunned to learn that their money was no good.

"The San Diego Chargers have restricted sales to the Divisional Playoff game to residents of Southern California and the surrounding area only," Ticketmaster warned. "Residency will be based on your credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of southern California will be canceled without notice."

Lynda Frank , a Patriots fan from Tewksbury, thought the sales restriction is unfair, if not outright illegal.

"Who do they think they are?" she asked. "Our reputation must have somehow preceded us and made us part of the fear factor associated with our team at playoff time."

Bill Johnston , a Chargers spokesman, said about 1,000 tickets went on sale Monday and sold within minutes.

"Our goal has always been to fill our stadium with Charger fans and supporters of the team. This also helps give our team the best home-field advantage possible," he said.

Johnston said the same ticket policy will be employed if the Chargers defeat the Patriots and advance to the American Football Conference title game. The hometown-fan-only restriction was not in place for regular season games of the Chargers.
