I attended four concerts during the 2004 tour, including the Tucson show where Eddie had his meltdown on stage. To say that I am apprehensive about this reunion would be putting it mildly.
What happens if Dave looks at Wolfie the wrong way or says something to the kid that Eddie doesn't like? I'm not being negative about all this, but I think this is a disaster just waiting to happen. If EVH is making an attempt to get his shit together, then good for him. Problem is he can't regenerate the brain cells he's killed with the alcohol and drugs.
Don't beat me up here, good people. As you can see, I am the new kid on the block. I came across this site and really liked what I saw and read.

I agree though. There was a video on youtube where Michael and Sammy were play fighting with Wolfie and Eddie stormed in and started kicking sammy like he was trying to drop someone.
This thing will implode 3 to 4 shows into the tour. With Michael there it just might make it all the way through.Right now, the mighty Van Halen is roadkill.

You get ALL the fans of each singer and they get to rest their voices. DLR will sound like shit 10 gigs into this tour. Neither he nor Eddie are mentally stable or responsible enough to tour together. At least if DLR and EVH have a meltdown, Sammy is there. With Wolfie and DLR and EVH together, this tour is doomed. Just wait til ANYONE comments on Wolfie missing a note or completely fucking up a song. Eddie's gonna be in jail in the blink of an eye. I, for one, hope this tour is a total disaster because of what they did to Michael Anthony. And it's gonna be.
yeah eddie needs a rock right now...I wonder how far I can throw it ???lolAbitaman wrote:saint John wrote:This is what I would do. I would bring back the original lineup AND Sammy. Maybe being doomed is what they need. Most people can't recover until they hit rock bottom-ERIC
