Pre-Perry concert video...........

Postby Clasicrockldy » Sat Jan 20, 2007 3:39 am

I received in the mail yesterday a dvd of Fleischman in concert with Journey. It is a b&w video that was shot from the stage, but it looks more like a family home movie than it does a pro-shot vid. It is interesting to see Fleischman fronting Journey, and listening to a few songs that eventually Perry re-did for the first album. It is a neat piece of Journey history to have...........

And Niggy............ the vid is shot from Neal's side of the stage....... :D

I don't know yet Dave...... I contacted roknroseville to let him know I received the package, and I did ask that question. I am waiting on him to reply...........

Also on this dvd........ is a Journey baseball game with the jocks at KMEL............. and an interview segment that I haven't seen before. The whole vid is in black and white, which I don't mind. :D

I hope Peyton Manning dies. Fuck that stolen horseshoe.

Oh yeah, I'd be interested in seeing that early JRNY vid. 8)

A team delivered by Satan with a stolen identity. You are going to hell Christian.

BTW, a couple of Indy Colts fans got their asses handed to them last week. They ran a flag with a picture of a Mayflower van up a flagpole at their tailgate. REAL bad move. It was taken down and burned and the Baltimore City police let it all go on.

Kinda sounds a lot like the Ravens.

Irsay is a jerk, though. He basically conned the city of Indianapolis into building the team a new stadium at taxpayer expense AND got millions of dollars in the deal as well.

No the fans here didn't steal a logo and history. Ever heard of Jim Brown being called a Raven? We didn't want the name Browns.

That's the difference.

It's pretty sad when all the Hall of Fame Colts want nothing to do with the Indianapolis franchise that is Colts in name only. My hatred for Jimmy Irsay, his drunken father, and the people that wore "Indianapolis Orioles" shirts after that move holds almost no bounds. It is sick and almost derranged. I hope the Colts plane crashes and bursts into flames. I would toast marshmellows to it if the theiving stench didn't drive me away first.

The team moving was one thing, theiving off Baltimore's history is another. Die Colts die!

Baltimore fans need to get over it. It's sports for crying out loud. I used to get too involved in this crap and it just drives me nuts that some people take it so seriously.

All I want is the name and records officially back. Never cared that Indy got the team.

It's just disgusting to see John Unitas's name at the Pro Football HOF listed under "Indianapolis"

I'm sick of being told to get over it. Cleveland only lost their team for 3 years, and got everything back. No one tells them to get over it.

Agreed...Just like the Raiders should never have been in L.A., the Colts should never have moved to Indianapolis.

Thanks for setting me straight, mystichealer. But as roknroseville said, he hadn't been to Fleischman's site, so whomever he traded with must have. Anyway, it is a good piece of Journey history. :D

The video is good for what it is...Fleischman doesn't sound that bad but, from what we're used to with Perry on those songs, it certainly doesn't sound quite the same.

Absolutely!!! He didn't play for Indianapolis, he played for Baltimore.

That's one reason I'm no longer a football or baseball fan. There's just no loyalty in the teams or players anymore.

Aside from the Milwaukee show are there any other shows known or rumored to have been taped from the 1977 tour?
