OT: American Idol

Some of these people come in actually believing that they are the next American Idol and they are talentless. Then they get crushed and devastated when faced with reality. I believe the parents of these people probably praised them with false admiration for qualities they didn't have, and the kids believed the lie. They didn't prepare their children for reality. How sad.

Last night there was a girl who came in dressed in a cowboy hat and boots and admitted she couldn't sing, but knew she could be the next American Idol regardless. When asked if she was there just to be on TV, she said "no." Then of course she gets all dramatic and turns on the water works when the judges send her home.

She was a joke. So obvious she just wanted her 15 minutes, no matter how stupid she looked.

Did you see the guy in the blue shirt that said "I Am Bernardo?" OMG, I was rollin'! Another nominee in the best dramatic performance category.
