Fun stuff so far. About time to have a bit of levity.

Ed,
Chris Rock once said that "a fathers only responsibility to his daughter is to keep her off the pole and out of clear heels".Is this true?

I look forward to my 10 month old girl to get knocked up by a professional athlete and extort him for a ton of money and make me and Mrs AR rich.

Would it matter if the pro athletes name was named Jamal, Darnell, or Ray-Ray?Just saying.

Nope as long as the money is green.

Yeah, I thought so. :(
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Shoot 'em up wrote:AR, here's a two part question I would like to have answered.

When did you come up with the idea of starting the Annex, and secondly, what are the criteria for admittance.

hERE'S MY QUESTION..A follow-up to Shootem.....what do we have to do to get banned from the Annex? and Part 2...how do we get back in?

Tackling these 2 in one thread.

The Annex was created, and I will be totally honest about this: In case Andrew ever got fed up with running this forum. I got the idea after the Baltimore party (now semi-legendary). I wanted a place for everyone there to stay in touch. Also, very honestly, I had Dean in mind with it's creation as well. Just wanted to make sure he had a place to give his opinions in case of "emergencies". It's all fun and definitely a clique. Absolutely not trying to be anything other than that. It's mainly bootlegs, weird pictures, some inside info now and then when we're lucky.

Criteria for admittance: I just decide to let you in.
Ways to get banned: Piss me off
Ways to get back in: I change my mind.

Most rare - I guess the full version of the Atlantic City show with JSS that has only been paritally leaked.

My favorite baseball team WAS the Baltimore Orioles. Thye died when Oriole Park at Camden Yards was built. The old Memorial Stadium was awesome, and the Orioles have never been the same since they moved to the corporate new digs downtown.

I still play baseball in an over 30 rec league north of Baltimore.

How do you feel about people who retreat to other outlets and call you a mental midget who wastes his money buying wrestling belts and thinks you only have 10 people on your forum? Enquiring minds want to know...

That's just jealousy. A bunch of old people that can't stand that I am intelligent, and look far younger than the years I have on the calendar. If you like Howard Stern and Jim Rome then you get where I am coming from.

We have 162 on the Annex registered last I checked, not that I care. Wish it were less. Approved accounts = 112. Now you know.

As for wasting my money on those belts, it's called disposable income. I'm fortunate to have the funds for vanity purchases.

Really I would have to see the posts to have a real answer, but that is just what I would think without seeing what was said.

Huge boxing fan as well. I miss the days of the welterweight division with Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Roberto Duran. I'm a also huge Ali fan. The guy is an icon that transcends the sport.

Ok, i was just directed to it. It's just a loudmouth from Western Pennsyltucky. Total loser with no class. Wasn't he banned from here for making a homophobic comment or something?

If that is supposed to be a place for "intelligent Journey discussion" why is my name even brought up? Think about it.

The league looks really cool. I'm in that age group and I'd love to be able to play on a team like that - however, while I've always been a pretty good hitter, I completely suck at fielding. I'd be a good DH, I guess.

I've been a Cardinals fan my whole life. The new Busch is beautiful, but it doesn't have the character of the old place. It helped a lot to christen it with a championship, though!

As far as the Atlantic City show, well, you Annex guys are some lucky ducks. :D

If Journey discussion includes Ed discussion, or Dean discussion, or Andrew discussion, or any form of MR discussion, then they all must equate with Journey. :D Cool bunch we hang with, huh?

Is that the same Memorial Stadium the Colts used to play in? Surely the Colts would have been forced to build a new stadium had they stayed in Baltimore wouldn't they? Would you have dismissed the Colts and their new stadium like you did the Orioles?

The problem with the suck ass Orioles is their owner Peter Angelos. He's a scumbag and a cock sucker.

Sorry for chiming in on your Q&A, I hate the Orioles.

Same place.

Difference is, the Ravens play in a new stadium and it is loud and the security lets the fans be real fans. Oriole Park is beautiful, but it is quiet. For years it was a bunch of people talking on cell phones and a very corporate, sterile atmosphere. Totally unlike Memorial was.

You measure from the base to the tip. A tape measure as opposed to a ruler accounts for the curvature. That is standard procedure as confirmed on the Howard Stern show, Playboy, Penthouse, and other reputable publications.

But only old, bitter losers with a poor sense of humor would ever ask that.
