Should Journey keep Opened the Door in the set list?

Hell yes! Some of the best Journey tunes are the more obscure ones!

Dude, they SO should do that.
Logistics would be tough with the sax, maybe you could program into Cain's keytar and let him hit it but I'd like them to roll PT, Once You Love Somebody, and It Could Have Been You ALL out.

Hell Matty, JoePa...
If there gonna throw anything from ROR back in
the sets, they NEED to let Deen rip thru SUZANNE!
Deen absolutely slays that tune!
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

Totally agree JoePa......especially on It Could Have Been You, very underrated IMO. And Carl.....so with ya on Dixie Highway, I think Jeff could definately pull that one off! :)

I like Opened the Door. But rotate it with Troubled Child, WCTNGOF, Lifetime of Dreams, Next and Winds of March (with the old live "Everybody" section)

Any and all of the songs mentioned here would be great. I know it wasn't on the list JSS said they were working on of Augeri-era tunes, but will still like to hear him do "Kiss Me Softly". I would probably just Image

I've always thought It Could Have Been You is a great song, but no one else ever seemed to agree. I'd love to hear that one live. Also, how about throwing Still She Cries in there for a night or two. I think Jeff's voice would be perfect for that one.

I`d like them to keep Opened The Door in the set as it`s a great song but also with some additions, here`s hoping.

It Could Have been You - my favourite off Raised On Radio
Sweet And Simple - my favourite off Evolution

I`ll be seeing them in March at the NIA in Birmingham, England.

Saw them in Manchester last year and they were great.

Looking forward to seeing Jeff sing and seriously want to hear something different to the norm.

Yea, but Neal's solo and then his classic outro solo where he's just swaggering. 8)

I was just about to post that - I hope you are right. There are some awesome songs in the catalog that would be greatly appreciated by the crowds.

I truely would like to hear something differnt too. Unfortunatly it will never happen. Most bands of Journey's duration all have a few songs that MUST be played every tour. The audience demands it! Remember the adverage concert goer are not us here on these boards the audiophiles of the band. Most attend because they remeber the hits and want to hear them live!

What may be a solution to this is once and awhile the band does a small venue announcing that this will be a boutique concert will the more obscure songs being played not the hits! I'd sure go!

Definately...I would LOVE to hear Jeff doing LA DO DA!

actually, I DID hear him do La Do Da at sound check outside the HOB. (you cannot hide excellent things from AGirl'sEars, Jeff.)

I almost soiled myself.

rorate rotate rotate. a good mix is the best setlist. I'm still holding out for Winds of March and Patiently.
