Not been to the Cluny myself, but I've heard is smallish and very nice. Be a change from Trillians.
Can't wait myself.

I saw Danny Vaughn perform for the band Waysted back in 1987 or 88. They were supporting Iron Maiden on the Somewhere in Time tour. Waysted tore it up and Danny was excellent. I had never heard of them, and immediately went out and got their album "Save Your Prayers" which is back in print and I highly recommend it. It's an overlooked classic.

I wish I could have seen that. Nearest I've got was when I saw Vaughn in Dec 2005 in Birmingham and Pete Way got on stage for Heaven Tonight. I now know why the band was called Waysted. But loved it all the same.

The article on the front page says that Vaughn's band is not being paid for their opening slot gig? Is this a standard thing or are they being ripped off?
