So the attorney for the daughter has been given custody.
Who is the attorney, please? Is it that Opri woman?
There are so many players in this farce that I don't know who is who anymore!!!!

Why don't they just do the paternity DNA tests on the cast of thousands who are claiming to be the father and sort it once and for all???
I'm so confused.

The attorney for Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter -- her legal guardian -- was awarded custody of the former model's remains, a judge ruled Thursday. He directed the guardian to consult with the three other parties who wanted the body, but said he wanted Smith to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son.

I saw that as breaking new on our local news a little while ago. I think the right decision was made. It's just ridiculous that everything is so crazy in that court room though. Her WHOLE life in the spot light was exactly the same way, so I guess it just continues in her death.

I'm surprised they aren't filming the baby's day to day life on some reality show with the Judge as the nanny.
They've done just about everything else.

I just can't understand what the delay is over Paternity tests????

Because Howard K. Stern refuses to give his DNA, and he refuses to allow anyone to get DNA froim the baby.
He is listed on the birth certificate as the father, and under Bahamian law, that makes him the legal father. And I have read that in the Bahamas they dont usually order DNA test to prove paternity - another reason they were there in the 1sr place.

He and Anna were ordered to give baby's DNA in a California court, so they moved to the Bahamas to get out of it. Plus, there are questions as to whether Stern is an actual resident of the Bahamas, as the Bahams Immigration Minister "rushed" ANS's residency, he even apparently accepted a Rolex watch from Stern/ANS to get it done quicker. The minister resigned last week because of this scandal.

Stern is going to be served with eviction papers on Monday, as the owner of the home they are in wants him out and he has no legal claim to being there. He is "squatting" at the house.

Bottom line, Stern knows he is not the father, or he would jump at the chance for a DNA test to prove it.
F*cking scumbucket.

Thanks Wally. :)
But if this attorney who is legal guardian of the child can decide where Anna is buried, why can't he give the go-ahead to obtain DNA from the baby?
It's all so complicated.
