Yea, but those 20+ goals become even more impressive
when you look at how young they are and how they are doing it.
With Staal and Malkin you got 2 front-runners for the Calder,
at 19 yo Crosby has a VERY legit shot at the Hart and Art Ross
and Therrien may also snag the Jack Adams. Now I know this
all means nothing once they get beat in the second round.
But for a city that hasn't seen NHL playoff hockey in 6 years,
this is a dream-come-true.

And be careful, it's not as 'easy' as you think.
The Pens aren't going nowhere, mark my words.
That is until Crosby, malkin, Staal, Whitney and Fluery
ALL come up fro Free Agency within 2 years of each other!

I know it looks like a real piano, but I don't think it is. If you watch the Vegas DVD, he plays it on several songs, but with different piano sounds ("Be Good To Yourself" is a good example).

I'm sure someone knows a lot more about his setup than I do (I'm a guitarist, not much of a keyboard player), but I've seen other keyboards that look like pianos but still have lots of electronic buttons and sounds and such. I always just guessed it was an electric piano housed in a grand piano shell just for visual effect. But I'm pretty sure a real piano can't make the 80's sound he uses on "BGTY."

The Whale is a real piano. Cain's "B"-rig, appropriately named "Shamu", is an electronic piano in a grand piano shell that is a bit smaller than The Whale. It has been painted the same red as The Whale so that the two will be indistinguishable to the casual fan.

I believe The Whale has been fitted with a MIDI interface, which would account for the different sounds of which you speak.

Luongo is the MVP. Crosby is awesome, but without him, they might still be a playoff team. They have Stoll and Malkin. Broduer is the best goalie of all time, but even still in the East, the Devils could still make the playoffs. Vancouver wouldn't have a chance without Luongo. The west is so much better than the east.

Dude, put down the crack pipe. Brodeur is good, but the best I ever saw was Grant Fuhr in the mid 80's. Edmonton had that wide open attack, sacraficed defense, basically left Fuhr to himself. Those games they'd play against the Flames, I'm telling you he didn't have "the trap" being played infront of him for most of his career. And this from a team that knocked out my Wings 2 years in arow in the Campbell Conference finals. Fuhr was the best I ever saw, I hated him.

Well, I do know that my former Church Organist had a Hammond that was remodeled, updated, and installed with a "pitch modulator".

It was the coolest thing....some of the songs would be too high for me to sing (at 8:30 in the MORNING ), so all I would do is turn the dial 1 or 2 clicks; turning it to the left and lowering the pitch of the song....she'd play the song just as it was written, with the same placement on the keyboard, but BAM!!....instant transposition!
