Way to go,JC! "Faithfully" is the #4 song in America.Very nice! :)

Gets lots of airplay too.

"The song has been at radio for 8 weeks now.Spins for the song increased by 75 and was added to another 2 more radio stations."

"Faithfully" is now uploaded full lenght on JC's Myspace.
To my surprise the final part of the song was changed and I have to say it's not bad at all!

Some new lyrics were added at the end too, love the way the two of them sing this:

"Thru the tears you stand by me
My love for you will always be
Faithfully

We're miles apart
I hold you close inside my heart
Faithfully
Forever yours"

Nice to see that 24 years later... faithfully can still kick ass.. Also why no one on idol does this song is beyond me... Could Lakisha or Jordan pull it off?? I dont think any of the guys still left could do it at all.

Mainstream AC radio.

It's in the AC 40 Chart.

If this shitty-ass version made the AC Top 40 then Steve Perry should just re-release the original version and watch it soar to # 1. Or re-record it.

Well, that may be one of the finest vocals ever done. He was incredible on that.

Well, it looks like Jon didn't, and he does own that song outright. He can do whatever he wants with it, even tho fans may not like it.

I don't think people are against the song be re-released in some form other than Perry singing it, as much as having to listen to Jon singing it.

I, like most fans, don't give a shit who "legally" owns it. Steve Perry will ALWAYS own that song as it pertains to someone singing it. And Jon should have left it that way. There is simply NO comparison between the two renditions.
