JOURNEY - Paradiso, Amsterdam 20 March 2007

A brilliant show from Journey, played in front of an ecstatic crowd, recorded by yours truly.
Setlist is basically the same as the one in the UK, although we got no 'Where were You'. Instead we got 'After the Fall'... :-((
Sound qualiy is really good, especially when you consider the fact that Paradiso used to be a church! I'll upload an MP3 sample later on. No artwork.

Dedicated to all crazy JRNY fans in Holland! Enjoy! You will!!

It'd be nice if people would let us know wherte to download it somewhere else, since it's impossible to get onto Dime, unless you already or there, or have someone willing to actually share the boots.

Dime isn't hard to get onto. You just have to keep trying. People's accounts are canceled or released all the time.

Try these bootlegsites instead:

www.thetradersden.org
www.jamtothis.com

These are easier to get in, not so many new bootlegs a day as dimeadozen, but still good
ive seen some journey shows on jamtothis audio and video

Thanks Dirq, you the man...

Once a bootleg shows up on Dime it follows real soon on mp3 at www.guitars101.com most of the time, so keep an eye on that one too.
Rock on !

if you REALLY want good quality boots, keep trying to get into dime. it's worth the initial frustration of trying everyday, several times a day to get in. it makes me sad when good recordings get compressed into crappy mp3s.

I couldn't agree more. The people at dime really frown upon downgrading the lossless version (like Dirq has shared) and downgrading them to mp3.

I totally understand why people don't want shows downgraded to mp3, but to be honest, I can't tell the difference 99% of the time.

If you want to have an mp3 version for personal use
for example mp3 players, car radio be my guest

The problem is when people have an mp3 version they think they actually have that show.
Let me tell ya........ NO ya don't.

If your a collector of bootlegs you want the original files in best possible quality.
Every collector tries to get the lowest gen possible, preferably a master tape.

One other thing you could do is to respect the taper/filmer wishes.
Thanks to those people we can hear/see concerts we've been to again.... FOR FREE

Just my 2 cts

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

My download started in the upper 200 KB/s, but slowed to like 35 after a while. My internet has gone down hill ever since TWC took over for Comcast here. Pisses me off.

LOL

Dime does indeed rule! But I also agree here - FLAC or MP3 - I don't care when we are only talking audience recordings! They suck to start with, so why argue over the format quality of the sucky original recording! haha

But the soundboard stuff - LOVE those and appreciate the best quality available there.

Well you've got to convert them to put them on an mp3 player. My mp3 player's gonna be worn out by the summer. I love that damn thing.
