I asked before, and I'll ask again, what is the purpose? Are these rare?

Without rolling my eyes, I too have to question why a review of an album that's over 24 years old? Maybe just maybe there are fans of the band that dont' know the music and would like to know something about each album, but there's literally hundreds of reviews on these albums already on the web.

I guess it's like blogs, people think because someone else has done one, they have to do their own. I dunno.

Well these reviews are about the remasters. This guy is obviously a big Journey fan.

I've had them for a while, I know what they are like, much like many other people. I stand by what I said about people who review OLD material and feel they need to do reviews seemingly just because they can. It's an opinion, I get it. But it's not gonna make me like or hate something, because someone else gives it a good or bad review. I believe in finding out for myself what something is like. Much like i dont' buy products based on commercials on shows I watch. I buy something because I tried it and liked it, not because they spend tons of money on commercials telling me how good their stuff is.

Yeah, I let them spend that money, then go buy the generic form.

Some things you can't buy the generic form of and enjoy it though. You can't substitute Chocolate cream cookies when the REAL DEAL, OREO's are out tehre. Much like you can't pick Guffria over Journey. The concept is the same, but the quality isn't. That said, I like them based on what I know myself, not what someone else told me.

Thanks for taking the time to review the albums and post here.Enjoyed the read. :)

ps ~ There are so many people out there for whom the old Journey material is actually new.Reviews like this help them understand what was Journey all about.
The more good rewies,the better.

For us diehards, this may not bring anything new,but it's nice to read someone's opinion on this.Echoing our feelings...right?

I review the material I am given and/or buy within an appropriate time frame.

If you don't care for the reviews, feel free to ignore them. I'm not out to satisfy anyone with the reviews themselves or what I say in the reviews.

The last time I checked, my review doesn't obligate you to buy the album. Ignore them if you want, I will live.

Glad you enjoyed the reviews.

I'm sure some will be happy that these are the last of the Journey material I will be reviewing. I'm out of material I was sent and the two I bought.

Because they feel the need to add stuff to reissues to make it "worthwhile" to fans who already have the releases.
