Rest assured that we will inform you of news as it evolves, as this is a great shock for us all, especially Jeff. Jeff appreciates your support and loyalty at this difficult time and is thankful to all the fans, old and new who have supported him over the years, especially during the recent Journey shows. He hopes to see you all on the road again soon.

An official Press Release by Jeff himself will be released shortly.

It's interesting to say that this was also a shock to JSS.

JSS got hosed. He comes back from his European tour and they drop this bombshell on him. I bet he regrets the decision to save their tour last year. They were up a creek with no paddle and this is his gift - walking papers! Tough to swallow, no matter how much you may respect the other band matters.

Could they have been any more classless throughout this whole thing?? No one in their right mind will want that position in that band after this. Such enormous disrespect for a guy who had nothing but love and admiration for them and who worked his ass off to give the public good shows. Sad when egos run amok and cloud good judgement. I still say this could be a blessing in disguise for Jeff, even though it might not look that way now. I'll follow his career wherever he decides to take it.

Dave, you have no idea...
Jeff is pissed/hurt/feels cheated all at once.
And Dean isn't kidding.
NONE of the band will return his calls and he
STILL probably hasn't gotten a complete explaination yet.

Exactly - look at the thousands of fans he has gained from his short time with Journey, and the amount of support on here even from the die-hard Journey fans. So many more people are gonna follow him in all his other projects.

With this being the case, it doesn't sound like Jeff has agreed to stay quiet or anything else. Being as straight forward as Jeff has always been, I cannot wait to hear his side of the story, to show everyone once and for all what they have been paying for and dealing with all these years.

Sad thing is, Jeff has to deal with lawyers and
legalities now and will probably be gagged just like Augeri...
Supposedly, Augeri will be allowed to speak publically
about his demise by October...
Will Jeff be so lucky?

I'm sure Jeff will say SOMETHING but we'll probably never know everything that went on.

Just curious. Do you think that was signed when he joined? Sounds like he plans to make a statement soon, and with him not being included in the bands statement, looks like he would have the right to have his say, even if not as 'generic' as theirs.
