No One Cares

No one cares what we think, especially Neal and Jonathan. They are doing whatever they think is best in whatever way they think is best. They have lost a lot of fans over the years due to personnel changes, and kept on going.

So we will all continue to still piss and moan, (me included as I lashed out yesterday which I still regret). But, whoever takes the new spot, or doesn't take the new spot....whoever chooses to 'support' them or not 'support' them....it won't matter. They will go on as they see fit.

So as we all continue to speculate and fight eachother, they won't really be caring too much. After all, it IS their career anyway.

Matter of fact, I know he regretted saying it because the poor guy got a lot of flack for it...but Jeff himself upon being named lead singer of Journey said, anyone who doesn't like the change and leaves the fan base, it's ok...there's always a new Journey fan around the corner.

Again, the people who care make up a vast minority of people who buy Journey concert tickets. Most are just there to hear DSB and Open Arms, and don't even know who's singing. As long as theres a lot of those people, they'll continue down the path they started with Tapegate.

Yep. They've lost 90% of their most loyal and dedicated fans, but they will still have the cash flowing in. Works, I guess?

Funny thing is, is they could have kept it all with Jeff.
