"Big Generator" was a snoozefest, in my opinion. Yuck! As far as Yes studio albums go, it's last on my list...

Are you mad? Big Generator was the best progressive album of the 1980s. Sure, they had a couple of AOR numbers on there but even they were superb. The God-like Trevor Rabin was on fire on that album. Great stuff.

...and I like the others about the same...except Drama which was a terrible mistake. I thought the idiocy of trying to replace Perry was bad but THIS?

By the way...I saw Chris Squire in my local supermarket the other day. He was being nagged by his wife so I didn't feel it was the right time to pay my respects. And I did feel most unworthy.... :)

I prefer Geddy but Squire is certainly an awesome player, one of those that can play what's considered a rhythm instrument as a lead instrument.

Believe me...he doesn't look nearly as comfortable with a shopping basket in his hand...the guy looked overwhelmed by it all....

He's a pretty big guy, isn't he? He could probably wield that thing as a fairly formidable weapon. :lol:

Yes - much bigger than I expected - although there's no way he's going to misbehave when the wife's around. She's got him well trained. :)
