Whereas I LOVE Big Generator and Talk. Yes took a huge backward step in the late 80s and by the time they returned to their senses in the early 1990s and allowed Trevor Rabin to take control again they'd lost momentum....

"Big Generator" was a snoozefest, in my opinion. Yuck! As far as Yes studio albums go, it's last on my list...
- Fragile
- Going for the One
- Close to the Edge
- The Yes Album
- Keystudio
- Relayer
- 90125
- Magnification
- Drama
- Tales from Topographic Oceans
- Tormato
- The Ladder
- Talk
- Yes
- ABWH
- Union
- Open Your Eyes
- Time and a Word
- Big Generator
Are you mad? Big Generator was the best progressive album of the 1980s. Sure, they had a couple of AOR numbers on there but even they were superb. The God-like Trevor Rabin was on fire on that album. Great stuff.
Okay my favourites by far:
1) Relayer
2) 90125
3) Going For The One
4) Big Generator
5) Fragile
6) Yes Album
7) Talk
...and I like the others about the same...except Drama which was a terrible mistake. I thought the idiocy of trying to replace Perry was bad but THIS?
