Saw them last night and I think they were called Macara.

They were a four piece band with a very good female vocalist.

Could anyone please give me some info on this band?

the vocalist is called laura; the guitarist is called illy. between the 2 of them they write all the songs.

laura's a fantastic pianist as well.

they have a a gig in balham south london in the bedford pub near the train station on 3rd July as well as a few others lined up. towards xmas, they're touring with thin lizzy - details will be posted on the website.
