. Check out any of the thousands of 80s compilation CDs there are out there - you won't find Journey on any of them.--------- Er, that is not the case here in the UK, EVERY soft rock compilation either has Who's Crying Now or DSB on it! I am a sucker for these albums, and believe me Journey are all over them! American Heartbeat, American Anthems, More than a feeling to name three......

Hmmmm, I wonder what the difference is. There are never any Journey songs on those compilation CDs here but there are over there, and those CDs and DVDs of bootleg concerts show up from there rather than here. I'm thinking maybe it must have something to do with some copyright or publishing laws?

I think the difference is that over here - Journey are perceived as AOR gods, whose name will help shift these albums, as, prior to the UK tours, Journey had an air of mystery and were legendary. Im not saying they have lost that, but its for that same reason that Kansas, Mr Mister and Toto apear on these albums. What bugs me is the laziness of the compilers, TRY some different songs! (Mind you, i will be in Vegas in September and cannot wait to buy loads of CDs.)
